Leader as Coach

An interactive and transformative workshop that equips leaders with the mindset and skills to coach their teams with confidence and impact. Through a blend of in-person and virtual sessions, participants learn practical tools—from active listening and powerful questioning to the GROW coaching model—that build trust, strengthen accountability, and accelerate professional growth. Leaders leave with a clear action plan and the ability to inspire, engage, and empower their teams in ways that drive organizational success. Particular areas of expertise include leadership transitions/new leaders, building and developing teams, and women in leadership.

    I examine organizational structures, staffing, and culture and then provide observations and recommendations to align organizational structures with strategies, enhance efficiency and effectiveness, and strengthen staff experiences and retention.

    Within the context of current and future institutional goals as well as best practices in the field, I review current strategies and tactics and provide feedback and recommendations.

    I deliver topical workshops tailored to the needs of leaders and institutions. Examples include training for supervisors and workshops for new professionals.
